Terms of sale

1. Who we are
Heru Website Security and Heru Cloud are published by Enora Labs Limited, company no. 672022, 77 Camden Street Lower, Dublin D02 XE80, Ireland (“we”). Contact: support@heru-security.com.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: you buy your subscription from Paddle, under Paddle's buyer terms, and these terms describe the service we provide to you.
2. The service
Heru Website Security is a firewall that runs on your website. Heru Cloud delivers updates of its protection data (signatures, country database, crawler ranges), signed by us. Sites connected for free receive each update 30 days after its publication. Sites covered by a subscription receive each update as soon as it is published.
3. Your account
Your account is created when you connect a site to Heru Cloud with a verified e-mail address. You sign in with a link sent to that address; keep access to it secure. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
4. Subscription and renewal
A subscription is billed monthly or yearly, in advance, and renews automatically at the end of each period until it is cancelled. Its price is a price per seat set by the number of seats (see Pricing), plus the VAT that applies in your country. Changes to the number of seats or to the billing period take effect at once and are billed or credited prorated for the rest of the current period. We will tell you by e-mail at least 30 days before any price change applies to your renewals.
5. Seats
Each seat lets one of your sites receive real-time updates. You choose the covered sites in your account and may change them at any time. The number of seats cannot be lower than the number of covered sites.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your account, under Billing. The subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid, then your sites return to the free plan. If a payment fails, Paddle retries it for a while; if it still fails, the subscription ends and your sites return to the free plan. Your sites stay protected in every case.
7. Refunds
See our refund policy.
8. Availability
We do our best to keep Heru Cloud available and to publish updates promptly, but we do not guarantee an uninterrupted service or a publication delay. The protection of your site never depends on Heru Cloud: when the service cannot be reached, Heru keeps working with the data it already has.
9. Acceptable use
You may not resell or share access to the updates, interfere with the service, or use it to harm others.
10. Liability
No security product can stop every attack. Heru reduces the risk; it does not remove it, and it does not replace backups, software updates and good security practice. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for a subscription is limited to the amounts you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the rights you have as a consumer.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by e-mail at least 30 days in advance and apply from your next renewal; you may cancel before then.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim there.
